2024 International Series Match-Ups Confirmed
The National Football League has announced the schedule of the 2024 International Games that will be played across London, Munich and São Paulo as the league’s global footprint continues to expand.
The Minnesota Vikings will kick off the league’s return to Europe on Sunday, October 6th, as they play the New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The following — Sunday, October 13th — the Chicago Bears will play host to the Jacksonville Jaguars at the same venue.
The Jaguars then revert to being the home team as the focus shifts to Wembly Stadium, as they take on the New England Patriots on Sunday, October 20th. This is the second time that Jacksonville will play back-to-back games in the U.K., having beaten both Atlanta and Buffalo in back-to-back weekends last season, and marks the team’s 12th and 13th regular season games in London.
Germany only gets one game this time around, and reverts to Munich after the 2023 double-header in Frankfurt, as the Carolina Panthers play the New York Giants at the Allianz Arena, home of FC Bayern Munich, on Sunday, November 10th.
The International Series slate remains at five games, however, with the already confirmed clash between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles kicking off the overseas season in Sao Paulo on Friday, September 6th.
“We are delighted to announce these exciting matchups across London and Munich, in addition to the historic first game in São Paulo, Brazil, to complete the 2024 International Games slate,” said NFL EVP Peter O’Reilly. “As the league and its 32 teams continue to prioritise international growth, we look forward to building on the incredible fan experiences seen in Europe while taking the game to new fans in South America.”
