HUDDLE UP WITH THE PACKERS

Neil Dutton NFL

There will be a distinct Wisconsin flavour to London in October, with the Green Bay Packers set to host a ‘Packers Huddle’ event to coincide with the capital’s second NFL International Series game next weekend.

The event, taking place at Redwood between 6.00-9:30pm on Saturday 11th October, will give fans the chance to enjoy a taste of Wisconsin, with fan-favorite foods inspired by a traditional Packers tailgate available for sampling. The festivities will be MC’d by Stephen O’Brien, the founder of the UK Packers fan club and a popular Packers podcaster. O’Brien will greet fans and offer interactive Packers-themed contests, prizes and giveaways. Music and entertainment will also be provided by a local DJ.

Fans will also get the chance to rub shoulders with Scott Wells, former Packers center and member of the Super Bowl XLV winning squad, who will be on hand to meet and take photos with attendees.

The event in London is one of three Packers Huddle events in Europe this fall, with the recent Dublin event taking place last month and Berlin set for November. The Packers Huddles are part of the team’s efforts to build the brand globally in conjunction with the NFL’s Global Markets Programme, which is aimed at driving fan growth beyond the U.S.

Fans planning to attend the Packers Huddle in London are asked to RSVP, with registration now open via the NFL’s OnePass app. More information about the event is available at HERE. For step-by-step instructions on downloading the app and navigating to the RSVP page, visit HERE.
