PACKERS BRINGING HUDDLE TO EUROPE

Neil Dutton NFL

The Green Bay Packers might not be playing a regular season game in Europe in 2025, but one of the NFL’s most iconic teams is still heading across the pond this year.

Thanks to the NFL’s Global Markets Programme, the Packers — who were awarded marketing rights in Ireland, the UK and Germany back in April — are bringing their ‘Huddle’ fan experience to Dublin, London and Berlin to tie in with the cities’ respective International Series games this autumn. These free events will be all about celebrating Packers fandom, with chances to meet team legends, snap photos, win prizes and enjoy a taste of Wisconsin. Expect classic tailgate-inspired bites, live entertainment, music, games and interviews at the following locations:

Dublin

Sinnotts Bar

Saturday 27th September 6–9:30pm

London

Redwood

Saturday 11th October 6–9:30pm

Berlin

LVL World of Gaming

Saturday 8th November

(Madden tournament, quiz show, Packers Pro Shop pop-up, and a documentary screening)

BRLO Charlottenburg

Sunday 9th November

(Outdoor tailgate with cornhole, Jenga, face painting and a special brunch menu)

All events are free to attend, with food and drinks available for purchase. Keep an eye on the Packers’ social media for updates and more details.

First launched in 2022, the Global Markets Programme is part of the NFL’s long-term strategic effort to enable clubs to build their brands globally while driving fan growth beyond the US. Clubs are awarded rights for at least a five-year term through the programme and can pursue activities that are consistent with what they can do in their home market.

The Packers aim to connect new audiences with Wisconsin’s unique charm, Midwestern character and the team’s ownership structure. The multiple Super Bowl winners have recently launched a German language Instagram account with specialised curated content tailored specifically to connect with German Packers fans.
