RAMS JOIN UNI RESET ROTA

The Los Angeles Rams have unveiled a refined brand and uniform refresh, signalling what the franchise describes as the next phase of its identity as it settles into a second decade back in Southern California.

Rather than a full redesign, the update is a deliberate tightening of the look introduced in 2020. The most noticeable change comes in the logo system, where the LA monogram has been stripped back to a solid finish, removing gradients in favour of a cleaner, more versatile mark. The ram head has also been sharpened, with bolder lines and a more aggressive expression, while the horn itself has been refined to a more defined point.

This refresh is about sharpening what already defines us,” said Rams chief marketing officer Kathryn Kai-ling Frederick. “It’s a modern refinement — elevating our identity with clarity and purpose while carrying our history forward.”

On the field, the changes follow a similar philosophy. The Rams will retain their ‘Royal and Sol’ colour scheme but streamline the uniform set, removing the much-debated ‘Bone’ look and phasing out gradient numbers and striping. Updated ‘Royal and White’ primary uniforms will now anchor the rotation, supported by last season’s ‘Midnight Rivalry’ alternate, with two further alternates set to be revealed later this year.

Subtler tweaks include the addition of a full horn sleeve across both primary jerseys, new 3D helmet bumper logos and an expanded range of pant combinations.

Beyond aesthetics, the Rams are positioning the refresh as a broader statement of intent. With SoFi Stadium set to host a run of major global sporting events, the franchise is using the moment to align its visual identity with Los Angeles itself, rolling out a citywide activation campaign spanning murals, community projects and local partnerships.

Developed with agency TBWA\Chiat\Day, the approach leans heavily into the idea that the Rams and Los Angeles ‘evolve boldly together’ — an attempt not just to modernise the brand, but to embed it more deeply across the city it now calls home.
