The Seattle Seahawks finally received the tangible reward for their Super Bowl LX triumph on Thursday night, with players, coaches and staff presented with championship rings that paid tribute not only to February’s victory over the New England Patriots, but also to the franchise’s history, the city of Seattle and the team’s bond with its supporters.

Created in collaboration with renowned jeweller Jason of Beverly Hills, the rings were unveiled during a private ceremony four months after Mike Macdonald’s team defeated the Patriots 29-13 at Levi’s Stadium.

The design features white diamonds and Seahawks blue sapphires and includes several nods to the organisation’s identity. The top of the ring carries the Lombardi Trophy alongside the score from Super Bowl LX and six marquise-cut diamonds representing the franchise’s six NFC championships. Twenty stones around the trophy commemorate the club’s 20 division titles.

One of the ring’s most striking features is a removable top that reveals an interior display celebrating Seattle’s championship journey. Inside are the words ‘Leave No Doubt’, the club’s postseason mantra, accompanied by four custom-cut Lombardi Trophies marking the four playoff victories that culminated in the title. A hidden compartment also contains a pair of wings incorporating 12 feathers, honouring the fanbase known as the 12s. The removable top section is also designed so that it can be worn as a pendant.

The side panels contain further references to the organisation’s culture. One side features each recipient’s name and number above the acronym ‘M.O.B.’, standing for ‘Mission Over Bullsh*t’, while the opposite side includes Macdonald’s ‘12 As One’ rallying cry alongside the Seattle skyline and Super Bowl LX logo.

In a statement released by the club, president Chuck Arnold said the ring was designed to capture the collective effort behind the championship season.

“This ring tells the story of our journey to becoming Super Bowl LX Champions,” Arnold explained. “Every detail reflects the commitment, sacrifice and belief that defined this team and the incredible support of our fans and community. It stands as a lasting symbol of what we accomplished together.”

Images and videos from the ceremony quickly appeared on social media, with Devon Witherspoon, A.J. Barner and other members of the championship squad showcasing the elaborate design. A limited run of 76 replica rings, commemorating the Seahawks’ founding year of 1976, will also be made available.
