TUCKER SUSPENDED FOR 10 WEEKS

Craig Llewellyn NFL

Free agent kicker Justin Tucker has been suspended, without pay, for the first 10 weeks of the 2025 NFL regular season for violations of the league’s Personal Conduct Policy.

The former Baltimore Raven’s hiatus will take effect from roster cutdown day (August 26th), meaning he will be eligible for reinstatement on Tuesday, November 11th. As with any free agent, Tucker may serve his suspension while not being contracted to a club. He remains free to try out and sign with a team and, if he lands a deal during the offseason, may attend training camp and play in preseason games.

The Ravens cut ties with Tucker as he faced allegations of ‘improper conduct’ eerily similar to those of Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson. The 13-year veteran, renowned as one of the best kickers to ever grace the league, fces accusations from no fewer than 16 massage therapists in the Baltimore area, all of whom claim that the incidents occurred between 2012, when the kicker joined the Ravens as an undrafted rookie, and 2016.

A Super Bowl winner in his first NFL campaign, Tucker woud go on to be the most accurate kicker in league history, with a reputation for having the biggest leg after converting an NFL-record 66-yard field goal attempt. His replacement on the

Ravens’ roster is likely to be recently-drafted Tyler Loop.

Tucker maintains his innocence.
