FOX Sports will take its flagship Big Noon Kickoff show overseas for the first time this September, adding another layer of exposure to college football’s growing international ambitions ahead of the inaugural Union Jack Classic at Wembley Stadium.

The network confirmed that its weekly pre-game programme will broadcast live from London on September 19th before Arizona State and Kansas meet in a Big 12 match-up that organisers are billing as the first Football Bowl Subdivision game ever staged in the United Kingdom.

The move represents another step in the Big 12’s push to expand its international footprint. After Iowa State and Kansas State opened the 2025 season in Dublin, and with TCU scheduled to participate in this year’s Aer Lingus College Football Classic against North Carolina, the conference is continuing to position itself as one of the most outward-looking leagues in college athletics.

For FOX Sports, the trip extends a programme that has become a cornerstone of its college football coverage into one of the sport’s most recognisable venues.

Kansas head coach Lance Leipold welcomed the added spotlight for a game that will see the Jayhawks become one of the first major college programmes to play in London.

“The show does an outstanding job of showcasing the pre-game pageantry of college football,” Leipold said. “Having the show at the Union Jack Classic will make for a truly special environment.”

Arizona State coach Kenny Dillingham agreed, adding: “We are thrilled that FOX Sports is investing programming resources for this game, and we look forward to Sun Devil fans enjoying everything that FOX Sports is doing in London to make this game special.”

Brian Dubiski, chairman and chief executive officer of the Union Jack Classic, believes the addition of Big Noon Kickoff further validates the event’s ambitions.
