The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced a new UK partnership with the Union Jack Classic, the first American college football game to be staged at Wembley Stadium in 2026.

The agreement will see those behind the game become the presenting partners of the Jaguars UK Elite Series Clinics, a programme aimed at advanced players aged 18–25. The initiative is designed to support the continued growth of American football in the UK by providing high-level coaching and development opportunities.

“We are always delighted to welcome partners that share our desire to grow the game of American Football,” Jaguars COO Chad Johnson noted. “With the Union Jack Classic as a partner, we can continue to expand our delivery and support young athletes aspiring to play the game at a higher level.”

The partnership is centred around the inaugural Union Jack Classic game on 19th September, when Big 12 Conference rivals Kansas Jayhawks and Arizona State Sun Devils face off at Wembley. Well ahead of the fixture, the first Elite Series Clinic will take place on 25th April, featuring Jayhawks head coach Lance Leipold alongside Jaguars UK grassroots staff. The sessions will combine advanced techniques from Big 12 coaches with positional drills and on-field development.

“Alongside bringing a major US college football game to Wembley, we want the Union Jack Classic to contribute positively to the development of the sport in the UK. This partnership allows us to provide ambitious players with coaching and experiences of the highest level.”

Jaguars UK will also provide operational consultancy support, while the clinics will offer the Union Jack Classic a platform to engage directly with players through on-site activations.
