The American Football League Europe has taken another step in building its off-field infrastructure ahead of the 2026 season, announcing KPRO Sports as the its official gamewear supplier.

The agreement will see KPRO provide match and training apparel across all eight AFLE franchises, as the league looks to establish a consistent professional standard on the field from its first campaign. The Bologna-based brand, backed by more than 30 years of experience through parent company Sew What s.r.l., will supply equipment tailored to each team’s needs, combining American design influences with Italian manufacturing.

For a league positioning itself around long-term stability and credibility, the visibility of gamewear — and the standard it represents — is a key component of that identity.

What players wear on the field is part of the identity of this league,” said AFLE director of sports Andreas Nommensen. “We wanted a gamewear partner that shares our commitment to quality and professionalism, and KPRO is exactly that. This partnership gives every AFLE team access to equipment that meets the highest standards, and that is something we are very proud of going into our inaugural season.”

The deal is part of a broader push by AFLE to establish the operational framework required for a sustainable European competition, with partnerships already spanning areas such as officiating, statistics and ticketing. With franchises in Germany, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, France, Italy and the United Kingdom — including both Rhein Fire and Vienna Vikings — the league is aiming to create what it describes as a ‘credible, long-term home’ for American football across the continent.

AFLE’s first season is scheduled to kick off on May 23rd, running through the summer before concluding with its championship game on September 6th.
