ELF GAMES TO BE BROADCAST LIVE IN THE USA
The European League of Football continues to expand outside its home continent, after adding a new American television feed to its existing arrangement in China.
A multi-year partnership with Fubo Sports, the ad-supported streaming channel of the Fubo platform, ensures that ELF matches will be broadcast live in the US for the first time, starting with the first games of the 2025 season this weekend. Each Sunday, a selected ELF match will be broadcast as it happens from one of Europe’s top stadiums, before the channel goes full bore in the postseason, when it will show all five playoff matches. Fubo subscribers will also receive access to on-demand content, including match highlights and weekly shows, as well as the ‘Top 10 ELF Games of All Time’.
“We are delighted to be expanding our presence in North America with Fubo Sports,” ELF managing director Zeljko Karajica said. “This is an absolutely significant step in further increasing the visibility and reach of the ELF internationally, and especially in the homeland of football.
The ELF is rapidly establishing itself as one of the leading football leagues outside the USA, and the new arrangement will allow it to reach new audiences in over 100 US markets, across all major FAST platforms and via traditional TV channels.
“More and more sports fans are turning to ad-supported platforms — from established leagues to exciting newcomers,” Pamela Duckworth, head of Fubo Studios, commented. “By partnering with the ELF, we offer our viewers football week after week with a very special European touch. We’re very excited to bring the league’s action live into US living rooms.”
Fubo Sports is available for free in the US on channels including Amazon Prime Video, LG Channels, Samsung TV Plus, Sling Freestream, The Roku Channel, VIZIO WatchFree+, Tubi, Plex, TCL Channels, TCL Live TV, and Tablo TV. The channel is also included in the paid Fubo packages, which bundle more than 400 live sports, news and entertainment channels.
