NORDIC STORM APPOINT NEW GM

European League of Football newcomers Nordic Storm have appointed Bjørn Stadil as their new general manager in place of Palle Navntoft Christensen, who is stepping down from the position following a decision made by the team’s board of directors.

Stadil, a successful real estate consultant, brings a wealth of experience and versatility from European football, having been a coach, player and commentator, as well as holding other key roles within the Scandinavian American football scene. He has also been a key figure behind the scenes for the Storm, where he has handled essential tasks that have smoothed the team’s entrance to the ELF, and can now bring that expertise and knowledge to a more senior role.

Bjørn comes with a background as an entrepreneur and has tried several times to build an organisation from scratch with great success,” team owner and chairman Michael Planeta elaborated. “At the same time, he comes with a great background from football and has earned great respect in the Danish football environment as a person and for his achievements.

Bjørn has also been a major driving force behind Nordic Storm and already knew a lot about the operational side before he got the offer to become our new GM. He has a clear vision for the further progress and momentum of the team, which the board supports and looks forward to becoming a reality.”

The Storm organisation acknowledges the contributions Palle Navntoft Christensen made in the early stages of the club’s development, which have helped bring the project to the level we see today as the new boys sit atop the North Division as the last unbeaten team of 2025.
