The St. Louis Battlehawks have announced a series of activations in their Community Hustle initiative to support the immediate and long-term recovery from the city’s recent tornado damage.

Working in conjunction with their premier community partner, United Way of Greater St. Louis, the Battlehawks are providing five ways to provide assistance for those in need, ranging from an open collection of essentials such as canned goods, toiletries and cleaning products, a $10 donation from every ticket sold for this weekend’s XFL Conference Championship game against the DC Defenders, ‘register roundups’ at official Battlehawks merchandise outlets, a cut of profits made on the club’s 50/50 gameday raffle and a donation for every St. Louis Battlehawks Box sold by Lee’s Famous Recipe at the weekend.

The Battlehawks have also joined forces with other sports teams in the city —incuding the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues and St. Louis City SC — as well as Anheuser-Busch to auction off a unique experience during a special broadcast of the Cardinals game on Friday (6th June) on Fan Duel Sports, KMOV and Matrix Midwest.

“We stand alongside our fellow teams to support those who have been affected by the devastation of the recent tornadoes,” said David Kinsey, VP of team business at the Battlehawks. “This is our home and we are committed to assist in continued relief efforts to help St. Louis rebuild.”
