AMERICAN GAMEDAY WITH TOUCHDOWN TRIPS

If you’re going to do an NFL trip, do it right… And that’s where the wonderful folks at Touchdown Trips, the official provider of the Gridiron Deep South Tour, come in.

Football is back. The sweetest words you can hear if you’re a fan of America’s Game, as hopes and expectations are at their early-autumn max amid fans looking at their teams’ rosters and schedules thinking this might be their year.

Seeing your team play on their hallowed home turf is a bucket list item for every fan. It involves a good amount of time and planning and it’s important to get it right. At Touchdown Trips, we draw on our experience as fans first and foremost to ensure an unforgettable trip. We offer fantastic flight and hotel deals which we combine with guaranteed, great seats to any game you fancy as well as a fantastic pregame tailgate – usually with supporters who have been hanging out and cooking great grub in car parks for longer than they can remember.

Here’s a quick guide to what goes into our thinking when planning a fan’s perfect trip…

JUST HOW MUCH FOOTBALL DO YOU WANT?

We know every fan is different. Some have limited holiday time, restricted budgets or simply are after a quick football fix, in which case a long weekend with a game and tailgate may be the order of the day. Others are more about cramming in as much as they can over a week or 10 days, so the hallowed back-to-back home double header may come into play, together with perhaps a college game so you don’t get bored. Combined with a stadium tour, this is the sort of trip that’ll satisfy that sports travel itch for at least a few months.

WHERE DO YOU WANT IT?

You’ve travelled over 3,000 miles and America’s got lots to see. It therefore sometimes makes sense to include a two-city trip, basing your holiday around seeing your team in home and away action. Road trips are a fantastic experience in the NFL – allowing fans to see other cities in the company of their fellow travelling fans. Also, adding another area of the US can be appealing to travel companions who aren’t exactly nuts about the on-field action.

ANYTHING ELSE?

Because each fan’s dream trip is different, the experiences we can add to your trip are extensive. NBA game? No problem. Going on a lads’ weekend? How about a brewery tour and helicopter trip too? Family holiday? Disney diversion may also be needed. From days out hiking in national parks to scaling the Empire State Building, if you want it as part of your trip we’re here to sort it out for you.

So with the season now underway, have a think about your perfect trip and get in touch. We’ll make it happen.
